Are you familiar with the statutory and voluntary sector and able to engage a wide range of groups and individuals in this vision?Bristol City of Sanctuary has established a respected reputation in Bristol for bringing communities together to create places of safety and welcome for refugees and asylum seekers. As an approved Charity (no 1177122), BCoS is seeking to appoint a Manager to coordinate and develop support in the city for its work.
Salary: JNC pt 29-31 (pro-rata to £26,470 -£28,221)
Contract Type: Permanent (subject to funding)
Hours: 14 per week
Closing Date: 9 am, 25th March 2019
The main duty of the post is to maintain oversight of all Bristol City of Sanctuary activity towards building a culture of welcome.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of issues facing people seeking sanctuary, and excellent networking, communication and negotiating skills.
