In the lead up to Refugee Week, The Guardian has published a resource page for teachers guiding them on the best ways to teach their pupils about sanctuary seekers. They have resources for all ages; encouraging teachers to explore the contribution refugees make to society and create empathy within the classroom, using role plays, films and writing exercises. They even link to City of Sanctuary’s very own Schools of Sanctuary.
