We are delighted that UWE Bristol have launched their Sanctuary Scholarship scheme, providing two scholarships for people from the asylum seeking and refugee community. The scholarships include a full tuition fee waiver and a £1,500 annual bursary, as a contribution to study costs, for the duration of the course. The two scholars will also have access to pastoral support through UWE cares. This is the first time that UWE Bristol have provided such a scheme, a scheme which will make an invaluable difference to the two recipients of the scholarship.
These scholarships are for the 20/21 entry and are for undergraduate courses. Applicants must have a conditional or unconditional offer for a UWE Bristol programme of study. The deadline is the 31st of July 2020.
