Can you help realise Bristol City of Sanctuary’s vision for the city of Bristol, with its organisations, networks and communities, to be a place of welcome and safety for forced migrants?
Are you familiar with the statutory and voluntary sector and able to engage a wide range of groups and individuals in this vision?
Bristol City of Sanctuary (BCoS) has established a respected reputation in Bristol for bringing communities together to create places of safety and welcome for refugees and asylum seekers. As a registered CIO, BCoS is seeking to appoint a Manager to coordinate and develop support in the city for its work.
The main duty of the post is to maintain oversight of all Bristol City of Sanctuary activity towards building a culture of welcome.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of issues facing people seeking sanctuary, and excellent networking, communication and negotiating skills.
The post will be based near central Bristol, but will entail a considerable amount of outreach work.
