For Refugee Week 2015, one Bristol school went the extra mile to teach their pupils about refugees. With the help of the World Wide Education Project, year 5 pupils at St Barnabas CEVC Primary School were encouraged to use what they had learnt about sanctuary seekers, and turn it into moving tales of the refugee journey. The writing process inspired empathy and compassion, feelings clearly visible in the brilliant stories, and both pupils and staff should be very proud.
